The picture is one that Don Forbes took when the laying worker hive was opened,
and if you look closely, you might be able to see that there are two eggs
laid in some of the cells Have you ever seen a laying worker hive? I have
one now - the swarm hive that Don helped Susan catch, the queen failed and
now its a classic laying worker hive. I am planning on combining it with another
hive (which of course decided to supercede) so I won't do it until I know
that hive has a good queen. My other hive has a very strong queen but it is
going so good I don't want to play with it.
